Allows you to convert the male end of any 1/4" cable into an XLR Male end. Many effects processors and home recording units only have XLR inputs, or have limited 1/4" inputs. This adapter overcomes this issue.

I have used this to interface the Ukulele Pickup 'Clip On' (unbalanced mono) to a standard XLR mic cable (balanced mono) for a PA. Although it's not designed for this, it works fine.
