What every school needs is an unbreakable stand, which nests for compact storage and has no knobs to fiddle with or get lost. The RAT Performer Stand delivers this and much more, with rubber feet to protect the floor, an extra lip on the music tray for pens, pencils and erasers, and a base designed to enable stands to neatly sit next to each other for compact storage.

An extremely tough and scratch resistant epoxy coating makes this stand extremely durable, & the heavy-gauge steel stem itself is very strong and rigid. The stand doesn't sway during performance, and can be adjusted smoothly and easily to the desired height.

The Tray
The injection moulded tray is virtually unbreakable; If bent, it springs straight back into its moulded position. The tray is made of a polymer which does not 'ring' when knocked, & has smoothly rounded edges throughout the entire construction - Safe to handle and kind to your instruments if accidently bumped into during performance.

The tray has an additional sheld for pencils, rosin & other accessories, & friction locks automically hold the tray at whatever angle you set. There are no knobs to fiddle with or lose, & it will never go slack.

The Base
The base is made from tubular steel for strength and rigidity, without excess weight. Rubber feet preserve your floor and prevent clatter if the stand is knocked.
At 72cm (28"), the closed height is almost 25% less than comparable stands, so you can store Performer Stands where others won't fit, such as on shelves or under worktops.

Really worth it for home use too... Although expensive, this stand is so very much better in almost all ways than the more common chrome folding type. It goes high enough for performing standing up (166cm to the top when fully extended), is really stable, is quick and simple to adjust, stays in position and has a large and convenient music platform that several pieces of music stays on without having to be clipped in place. Why didn't I get one years ago?
