Finished with the highest care and attention to detail, the maple and spruce wood used for the hand crafting of this instrument has been finely selected for it's strength and quality, and carefully stored to preserve the qualities that give the Concertante it's warmth, impressive resonance, and typically feminine tone.

Other great notable features include a fine ebony fingerboard, chinrest and top-nut for improved sustain, ebony pegs for maximum durability and tuning stability, a fitted French Despiau bridge, and Ebony Hill tailpiece.

Finished with a careful hand applied spirit varnish over an antiqued aspect, the Concertante Viola comes fitted with factory standard steel strings, although for a viola of this quality it is often recommended to upgrade the strings upon purchase.
