Review: It looks great, and is good quality. Review: Bass arrived packed well. The appearance of the paintwork isn't exactly like the picture, but it still looks great. I had to do some setup with the bridge (string height and intonation) and the fretboard looked very dry, so I gave it some oil. I have to say after the basic tweaks I did (which almost always need done when buying cheaper-end guitars online) it is a really good bass to play! I can't believe this was less than £70 with postage. Unbelievable value. I might upgrade the pickups and electrics at some stage, but the stock wiring sounds really good straight away and I can get a great range of tones with various settings on the bass alone, which is always a good sign. To sum up, this bass is great value. Review: I bought this left handed guitar for my 15 year old son who's been playing electic guitar for 3 years. He gets fed up with setting up the amp every time he plays and decided he wanted to try the acoustic. He's really pleased with it and has certainly played this one a lot more than he played the electic one. It's more portable too so he says he can take it to friends houses and on holiday. Review: A nicely made product supplied with all you need to install. However, I threw the supplied fixing screws and plugs away and installed it with some decent screws and plugs. I also found the bolt holding the yoke needed a star washer (not supplied) otherwise it didn't tighten up and span round. I am using it for my Marshall TSL601 and it is ideal as it not only supports the amp securely but puts the volume and other controls at a level and angle where I can see them without bending down. Review: For indoor use, it is very versatile. It could benefit from some form of clip to keep the neck from falling out of the stand. I use thick elastic bands which work but are not ideal. That said this is a very small criticism and if like me, you are using the stand in a studio set-up it is an excellent choice. It holds 7 guitars easily, electric and acoustic. Delivery was quick and efficient and assembly easy. Review: The order was processed quickly and efficiently. The Tiger Rack is for seven guitars but as research showed it is very tight to accommodate acoustic guitars. I use it with guitars in alternate slots to avoid touching - suits me. Good value for the price. Easy to assemble but the unit doesn't bolt up tight and solid - there is a little bit of 'sway' but not a problem in home use. Finish is good and it does the job. Review: This is a very good system that does what it say on the bag (it is not a tin after all!). The designer had posted some good footage on U-Tube as well to show how to use the system (you get instructions too of course, but a picture vs 1000 words etc). My only issue is that you get the wax stuff all over your hands, and hence, your guitar. So you need to clean the whole guitar after doing the neck. But most annoyingly, the aerosol blocked after one use. A replacement did exactly the same. The spray can is clearly not properly designed to dispense this wax mixture by the looks of it. DJM were very good and sent me a replacement, but as I said, that did the same thing. You can still use the wax by removing the top and using it like a bottle to impregnate the pad though. Oh, the only other thing is that you get little blue bits of cloth all over your guitar, but as I said, you have to clean the instrument after polishing it anyway, if that makes sense! Review: Firstly, I want to give a 5 Star rating to DJM Music who have been very helpful. I had problems with the courier and DJM were immediate and spot on with their help in sorting out that side of business for me. A great product for the price, probably not the sturdiest rack on the market, but certainly up to the job, after all, it's going to sit against a wall and not be broken down constantly for gigs etc. The space for 7 guitars really relates to electric guitars or Basses. I think I can get 6 electrics and 1 acoustic on there, but more than a single acoustic guitar and you'll be taking up two spaces, this just worth bearing in mind if you have a stack of Martin's or Gretsch White Falcons looking for a home. Review: We ordered the child's 1/2 size classical pack in pink for my daughter, but when it arrived it was a different brand of guitar that was cheaper and that did not come with a carry bag. We informed DJMusic and did all they can to resolve the problem for us, which was actually with one of their suppliers not informing them of a change in available products. In the end we kept the guitar we received, but DJMusic refunded us the difference and supplied us with a suitable carry bag free of charge. Review: These are a great combination of quality and price - excellent vfm. I was alerted to these by an email from Amazon and was attracted by the low price. The reviews all seemed very favourable. They are solidly made from a good gauge of painted steel and the rubber/plastic padding more than adequately protects the neck of the guitar. I've used them for electric, classical and steel strung acoustic. The rubber retaining strap is an excellent, functional addition too, that many similar hangers don't have. No wall plugs included but I prefer that as I generally find plugs included are not suitable for my walls. Review: The first thing to say is that this is great value, and although I've not had it long, I don't regret buying it. Nice padding, not too hard to put together. So, some detail:- How sturdy is it? Well not too bad, but to be frank it does wobble it bit, but not dangerously. I think its fine in a domestic setting, but I wouldn't want to gig it many times. Can you really get 7 guitars on it? Er. Yes and no. I have a bass, an electric, a semi-acoustic and two acoustics (thatƒ_Ts 5); I wouldnƒ_Tt get two more on, in fact I would not get another acoustic on, but it could manage another electric. So, it would take 7 electrics, but probably only 4 full-bodied acoustics comfortably. Does it look after the guitars as well as separate stands? Not really. The padding if good, but you have to be careful how you put the guitars on the rack, as the bodies can twist and knock each other. But if you put them on properly with three points of contact, the padding takes care of them OK. It would be better if it had some adjustable separators on the bottom rails. Verdict: Really saves space, and is fantastic value. Was delivered very quickly by DJM (who were also helpful on the phone). If you have 5 guitars, get the 7-guitar version. Review: Bought this as it had a ukulele setting. The tuner g was easy to use however the ukulele setting tunes the G string low. To be able to tune it high I have had to switch to the chromatic setting which is not really a problem. Review: This case is excellent value for money. I've got a Peavey Grind 6 string bass and it fits like a glove. The external storage compartments are ideal for carrying a strap, lead, guitar stand, music etc while the inner one is great for tuners, picks, string winders etc. The case is very well made and gives good protection. It's taken the best bits from gig bags and hard cases and combined the two to produce this great case. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that the rucksack straps aren't detachable which is annoying if you don't ever wear the case on your back. Review: These strings are jet black and look stunning against the fretless neck of my Cort Curbow. They are feel even smoother than regular flat wounds, though they do feel dryer against the skin. I'm not sure if it is safe to use fast fret on them so I'll check into that before doing so. Review: Good product. It came with a rust like dust on the metal parts which I had to clean off so I couldn't give it 5 stars. The instructions weren't the clearest but they did the job. Review: Received the guitar stand in a damaged box. The instructions supplied are really awful. After constructing it, the stand was very unstable and very low quality with rust on the joints. There was no way I was going to put my expensive guitars on such a flimsy stand. It didn't cost much, but I expected much better. Review: I've now got 8 of these for my guitars, bouzoukis etc that I'm working with in the studio. They are perfect for being around your feet when at the recording desk - (a small footprint and no 'feet' or 'cradles' to snag on trousers, jack leads, straps and things). They are also pretty stable and comfortably accomodate different sizes of instrument. Unfortunately they are not that tough and I have had 2 crack on me at the hinge end of the neck from nothing more than the weight of a large acoustic. The reason I use them? There is nothing else on the market with the same small, snag-free foot print. I only wish they'd make one to exactly the same design in polished alluminium. Review: Seems to be Ok but I didn't want to let go of the guitar when I first used it. The good thing with this is you can rotate when fixing to compensate for non symetrical headstocks. Of course you can only use that guitar on it but my other hangers are warwick and a fender jaguar doesn't hang straight and is not supported very well. Review: I play in a Cajun/Zydeco band - mixture of folky acoustic type numbers and rock n roll/blues, so was in need of a guitar stand to accommodate my f-hole electric, which is quite heavy and a lot wider than something like a strat, an acoustic guitar and a mandolin. Like most other part-timers we play in very small spaces. I usually transport PA and bass cab in my Astra Estate. So space is a premium. I was using a double stand that hangs guitars from a tripod, but that has fallen over on more than one occasion - especially if you have a heavy solid body guitar one side and an acoustic the other - the centre of gravity is too high I feel. My local music store (music superstore - haha!) didn't have any multi-instrument racks in store for me to see and would only get one in to order - around £50. I also considered the briefcase type rack but car space is at a premium and I can't get another box in there. I spotted this and thought, for the price, it's worth a punt. I could always just use it at home. You have to out it together your self but all the components seem pretty solid, once constructed I have to say, it's really, really good. very solid, easy to fold flat and very steady. Instruments sit on two foam covered bars across the base and one of these is adjustable so you can take a narrow electric guitar one side and fatter bodied guitar the other. With my three instruments, it's quite snug so I'm not sure you'd get three fat guitars in there, and you need to watch how the guitars rest because they can touch, but the stand is much steadier than the multiple types than suspend the instruments. I can get my f hole electric, my jumbo acoustic and my mandolin on there quite comfortably - I'm confident I could get a thin body electric in there rather than the mandolin if necessary. The only down side for me is that it's just too high for the mandolin's neck, so I sling the strap over the top bar for to steady it. For the money it is an absolute 'no-brainer' I think the Warwick Rockman retails at about £40+. Review: Delivery & service was perfect-best I have ever had. The guitar had a few marks on it which was disappointing but otherwise this is a good first guitar with a nice sound. I did find it difficult to tune the first time (have a spare high e string ready ) but once in tune we have enjoyed playing what is like I said a good first guitar. Review: I already have the exact one so i know that it works very well and has a very long lifeline. I have a few guitars and although this item was cheaper elsewhere, dont forget that u still have to pay for P & P n thus the total you pay increases. Review: I much pefer the Polyweb strings - they make less slide string noise. I've used a good variety of strings over the years and Elixer are best for me regards tone and life duration. I ordered these strings on Monday at 11.30am and received them the next day at 11.30am in Aberdeenshire, 1st class post.
