Review: This is fine - it does the job. It's strong, light and it fits the music stand. However, I would prefer shorter handles because the whole package (stand, legs and case) is so light and quite a large area, it tends to flap about when you're outside with it. This means it scrapes the floor, tangles with your legs or blows around and hits you in the back. Nothing serious just a bit annoying. Review: I ordered two stands which came without instructions so I cut my finger trying to guess how to put them together. It is still sore and bleeding whenever I knock it accidently. I also discovered one of stands were bent and rusty. However, once I contacted the supplier they sent a replacement and talked me through how to put the stand together. Review: These lights are so versatile! One bright LED in each highly flexible arm will provide enough light without being so bright as to cause glare. What isn't obvious from the name or the description is how little they weigh - very important on flimsy music stands. At 90g (3.2oz) they're even light enough to clip to singers' music folders if you went carol singing in the dark... The lights are controlled individually in each head - one click, 1 light/ two clicks two lights/ three clicks, off. Review: This is a robust, well made product with a good finish. The mat black colour is thick and even. It folds up neatly but it is not light (which can be good or bad depending on use) It is perfect for my purpose, which is to use at home with the option to fold it up and put it away. The quality for the price is excellent. Review: Great service from DJM. I used the light last night for a three set big band gig and it was spot on. I also have the mains powered only K&M light and this new one has a very subtle light that lights all the stand. The noticable thing was that it didn't give you that feeeling that you stood out like beacon. Can't coomment on battery life as the gig was only three hours long. But nothing bad to write at this point. Nice to have a bag to put it away after use too. Review: I purchased these lights for the purpose of helping to highlight photos and cards at my stall that I trade from at varoius shows and fairs. They are ideal for this in that I can easily adjust the angle of the lights to help draw attention to products. As they are battery operated they are ideal for use in places where no electric is available or where light levles are low. It is too early to say how long the batteries will last as I have only just purchased this product.I would liked them to have been a little brighter but the ease of use and flexibility they offer outweigh this. They can be used with a mains adapter to save on batteries which is a bonus and I also find that it lights up the screen and keyboard of my laptop very well in dim conditions and they run off the laptop with supplied USB cable - very handy. Review: Not quite wide enough for my 15" Toshiba, but it site OK sticking out over the stand edges. Review: Really worth it for home use too... Although expensive, this stand is so very much better in almost all ways than the more common chrome folding type. It goes high enough for performing standing up (166cm to the top when fully extended), is really stable, is quick and simple to adjust, stays in position and has a large and convenient music platform that several pieces of music stays on without having to be clipped in place. Review: On first use my first impressions are that the goosenecks work well. The spring clip is very secure on the music stand I use in concerts (it was tested in a large church setting). The spread of light is very good and no doubt helped in this model by having four LED bulbs (twoin each lamp head). The only slight drawback is that light output, although nice and bright, is a blue/white colour. Normal Tungsten bulbs give a more natural, yellowish light. To be fair, this is the same kind of light output from any LED unit, whichever brand,/model you choose and LED's have much less power consumption so your batteries will last longer. A bonus on this model is that each lamp head has it's own switch that can independently change each lamp head's setting from Off - On (one bulb; half brightness) - On (two bulbs; full brightness). Review: I find the fusion cornet gig bag wanting. It is without doubt a wonderful bag, with shed loads of pockets, but it does not fullfill the requirement of a gig bag which is to give a carry bag for your cornet AND mutes. It does not. But the attachment does allow for the mutes which means that you now have a gig bag with ANOTHER gig bag on top of it. When attached the whole outfit is huge, and considering that the original idea was to REDUCE the size/weight of a cornet case, on this it fails. Overhaul tho, the gig bag(s) are VERY well made and are undoubtably top quality merchandise. Review: This review follows a replacement for one of 4 stands bought in April. They are of poor quality with fragile plastic fittings and screw and nut fixings that fall apart. A music stand is only as durable as its weakest part, these are full of weak parts. We have 15 stands in use and are constantly cannibalising from our broken ones to keep these going a bit longer. Review: A very light weight stand - much lighter than my previous music stand. It will go up high enough for me to stand and play violin. It holds music books with no problem and is easy to adjust and fold away. The case is big enough to easily fit the stand into when folded. Review: This is a well-made and sturdy stand. It is not out of place in my sitting room, it is very stable, and will support a huge amount of sheet music. I had to lower the stand by removing 6" of the inner and outer upright tubes, so it could be used comfortably from my sofa, as well as from a formal chair, but this is a straightforward adjestment, and you cannot tell by looking at the stand! A much superior stand to the foldable variety, if you do not want to move it around too much (even so, this is quickly done, without tools!). Review: The item arrived promptly in accordance with given time slot which was great. The only snag was that the item came with no instructions how to assemble it. My daughter and I assembled it to standing position which was easy enough, but the sheet holder was more complicated and we had to phone DJM for assistance who were extremely helpful and polite. Review: The light given out is very good and consistent easily covers two pages and at time covered 3 pages well. I have found that on stage the lamp keeps the music white while the stage changes. Made it very easy to use read. However, I found the batteries (using 9) did not last effectivley beyond 6 hours which could get quite expensive. Review: This is a very nicely designed and made stand and looks really good. The music shelf is deep which suits me as I use some fat music files. It took only a couple of minutes to put together. I had to cut a few inches off the inner rod in order to get the stand down to minimum height for seated playing. Review: The designer of the RAT Jazz stand should be awarded a gong for this. In playing professionally for some 50 years I don't think I've ever come across such a well produced piece of musical kit. I rank its design almost as good as the Fender bass. Just one small modification needed - separate sheets of music do tend to slide off the rack, I'm still working on a solution to this to avoid having to angle the desk more towards the horizontal. Also, this lean means that the base of the stand interferes with your feet if you want to get closer to the stand to read the music. Review: This is the second music stand I've purchased from DJM, the first was the lightweight Rat, DJM had the best price in all of the UK! This wooden music stand is really handsome. It's a bit wider than a regular stand, so if you don't want something so wide, you'll have to forgo the wood. Of course, for the price, it's not a solid piece of wood, but fibre board. So, although it looks great, it was damaged in delivery, one corner was bashed in a bit, and the backside of the stand suffered some dents and scratches. DJM replaced the stand free of charge and the new one arrived in 2 days. Review: Possibly THE best music stand I have ever come across! The saying "you get what you pay for" applies to this product: It is not cheap, but I suggest that you do not hesitate to buy it (along with the carry-bag for the extra £15 or so). Think of it more as an investment. Other music stands have been ok, but on average won't last much longer than a year of constant use (in my experience of daily use), or the sturdier ones are very awkward to carry around. The Hercules music stand (and the carry bag) solves the durability and portability issue in one go. Review: The band I'm in has 40 of these (thank goodness for grants!) and we absolutely love them. They're practically indestructible, believe me we've tried! Go up and down so easily. Wish the gig bag was slightly wider, but with the big flap on the top I can carry the stand, 4 music folders and a flute without too much problem, just doesn't close which is a shame. Review: I struggled for years with other portable stand lighting products (and various home-made efforts, too!) in order to see music on dark stages. All had the same fault - inadequate holding brackets. This model is perfect, and the two level lighting is also good, given the differing amounts of lights on different stages. Review: The Projector Stand is so much better than I expected from the illustration. It is exceptionally sturdy, though very light for carrying, a boon to me because I am disabled. Review: I have used the stand to support my laptop when playing drums using music downloads and music software. It works very well in this application as it is very stable and with a bit of giggling fits between the drum kit legs. Also, height adjustment and viewing angle are easily adjusted within quite a large range making able to be mounted quite high up. For quality and value I recommend this stand. Review: This is a very good basic music stand. It's lightweight - so easy to carry - but this also means it is less stable when doing outdoor gigs and the wind is blowing. Review: This product is beautifully presented and does an excellent job. I bought it for my piano and it illuminates 2 A4 pages well and lightly illuminates the whole keyboard. The pure white light contrasts with the yellower lighting of the rest of my living room but does make reading the music easier. A minor criticism is that the plug for the mains cable plugs into the top of the clamp and makes an otherwise very smart looking lamp look untidy, although this only shows when no music is placed in front of it. Review: This light seems good on the whole but this observation must be qualified in that for one lamphead the switch operates as described in the instruction leaflet whilst for the other pressing the switch once brings on one light, and twice brings on two - the reverse of what is described.
