Review: Lovely quality and excellent value. Highly recommend for school environment. A little big for pre-schoolers but because it is light weight and sturdy will still use them in my classes. Wooden handle is very nicely finished. Only down side is the plastic tape that seals the plastic edge onto the wooden handle. Make sure this is smoothly stuck down before handing out as little fingers might start to fiddle with this. As it is electric tape style this could easily re-applied with fresh tape. Review: The plastic is not as strong as I had hoped for: one good bash on a tiled floor and I suspect this might split along the sealed edges. My 8 year old son perceives it as very loud, too loud, played on its own. Within a class room set-up the sound should hold its own against other instruments or a dvd played. Review: These were purchased to be used on the drum kit for use on quieter/acoustic gigs. For this purpose, they are perfect. They have a good weight behind them and good balance as well as the head being the correct density to allow dynamic playing from quiet to loud. These are also great for cymbal swells, allowing you to create a swell without hearing too much of the initial hit. The maple handle is also of a good enough quality to be able to use the butt of the stick on the cymbals if you require definition with your playing. It may be a little heavy for young children under 7 to shake, although they can rub the beads and get a good sound out of it in any case. Although it is not the largest cabasa, I think it is perfectly adequate for an adult with medium sized hands - a male might want a slightly larger handle/ instrument perhaps. Review: This ia an excellent product,rather expensive but very well made, plenty of padding to prevent damage with a carrying handles or straps to carry them like a rucksack. Review: I found these claves to be good value and all round fit for purpose. They resonate well enough and have a good tone. I have limited use for claves so was unwilling to spend a small fortune on a set (which some claves sell for) so found these to be perfect for my needs, so if looked after well there is no reason why these should't last for some time. Overall a great product for the money and also great service from DJMusic, I would recommend both the claves and DJMusic for your musical needs. Review: This Tiger stand is very well built and sturdy. It's ingenious design allows for a range of percussion pieces to be mounted, far more than the two arms would suggest. I am not happy mounting effects, for example a cowbell, on my bass drum hoop - so for me this is the perfect solution. The stand was securely packed and arrived in perfect condition. The delivery was scheduled between 11.56 and 12.56 and it arrived at 12.10, so it can be done - other suppliers please note! Well done and thanks to djmmusic. Review: My 9 year old son wanted bongo drums for his birthday so obviously I checked out ebay. Normally I stay away from the cheapest product but after talking to the chap in the shop I decided to give these a try. So glad I did as they are excellent and would recommend them to anyone. Review: I bought these bongos after hearing Pete Lockett playing them on Youtube. They sound Fantastic! The best thing about them is the fact that they have strong synthetic heads that will not split easily when tuned up high. The down side is they look like cheap budget bongos with black painted hoops plus they are heavy and uncomfortable between the knees. Review: I was first apprehensive of ordering these chimes because I found that they looked very "plasticy". I was also comparing them to the Percussion Plus chimes which are slightly more expensive but better looking (dark resonating body, brighter colours)I ended up buying them in a special deal and must say that I am absolutely impressed. They have a VERY GOOD SOUND for what you can expect in that price range. I would not recommend them for very young children though (Our 14 month old tries to pull the metall bar off as soon as he gets hold of them)Ideal to use with preschool and primary school children. Review: Love that there are bags that match the drums inside! That said, it's a paler, brighter blue than the drum of the same pattern, so it's not a perfect match. It does fit perfectly though, with enough room for the drum head to wear its hat (black padded cover) inside, while there's a bit of storage for small percussion (claves, egg shakers, and such) in the side pocket. Review: This strap appears to be he-man-sized! As advertised, it will fit any size of djembe, but it won't fit any size of human. It's far too big for me, a slight woman, particularly in the width across the shoulders. I can use this harness, but only by wearing it backwards and crossing the long straps an extra time, which puts the weight of the drum on my waist rather than shoulders - defeating the purpose of the thick shoulder padding. Review: I use a Toca 12" (mechanicaly tuned) Djembe and this stand was ok with it. The djembe needs to be tilted, otherwise it could fall out. However, a piece of string etc. over the front should suffice. The circular band at the top is not the greatest for supporting my djembe but it does the job I guesse. The build quality is good although not the best. It is quite good for adjusting angles and hight. Overal, I am happy with this product. The price is excellent. Review: For anyone wishing to house their Meinl chimes in a bag then this Meinl chime bag certainly does the job. It has Meinl written on the outside of it making Chime recognition a breeze. Further more there is enough space inside for at least two chimes or a single chime and various cymbals (as in my usage). Review: I got these for my autistic son who is very music orientated. He has a keyboard and always switches to bongo drums when he can for the sound. Buying these was the best! He loves them and never stops playing it. Its starter set and at age 9 he can read music and can teach himself bits - they are fab! Many thanks for offering them at such a good price. Review: It's peculiar psychology that means it's only 4*. I would have given 5* to my old PR case, but it got stolen - I struggled with alternatives until I could stand it no longer and hasd to buy another. The previous one fitted my 20" like a glove and was a struggle to get on if you put the nut end of the struts in first. This one - now clearly labeled for 20" - has plenty of room for the struts and will take beaters down the side as well + the handle and carry strap are a little different. In addition to the shoulder styrapo the handles are now long enough thast they can be used to carry the drum like a ruck sack. The changes have thrown me slightly and left me hesitating to give 5* until I've had time to get used to and test the difference. But enough Mills and Boon. It's the same sturdy Protection Racket vynil with that lovely whooly lining. A warning to young parents, a dfriend let the baby play in his (empty) PR case.
