Review: The flute I bought was for my daughter for Christmas. This came in super fast time and extremely well packaged. The case is fantastic! Much lighter than the one she has and I love the shoulder strap which makes it so much easier for her to carry. This does not impede on the quality of the case. I cannot fault it in any way. It protects the flute as good as any other. The flute itself is a superb quality one which will give her endless hours of pleasure. It's construct is of superb quality and craftsmanship. Review: The wide neck pad on this sling distributes the weight of my vintage tenor sax much better than what I had before. Review: The product is very well presented, in a zipped carrying case, with a shoulder strap and handle. The instrument is protected well within the case. It was very easy to put the Clarineo together and the reed was already fitted. The plastic reed is a great idea for beginners and children as it's a bit more sturdy than the standard reed and slots into a special groove on the instrument. Thus, positioning is not a problem. The DVD and instruction book are great. I haven't tried the CD yet. I'm an adult beginner, although I do play the recorder and melodeon, so can read a bit of easy music. I have only had a couple of sessions learning to play, but I've found it really straight forward and managed to get my first notes quickly. I think the instrument looks great, I chose the white / electric blue model. So far, I'm really pleased with it. I think it would be fine for a child. My only disappointment is that the book and DVD only cover a limited range of notes and there does not seem to be a follow up available. Review: This display stand comes very well wrapped, even including a gel bag. It is well made from quality steel with well padded supports. When put together and a tenor saxophone added, the legs splay out with the effect that the sax appears to lean at an unusual angle. That said, it does it's job well, and is suprisingly good value for the money. Review: My 2nd-hand bari came with only a tenor sling - which puts all of the weight on the top of your neck. This harness makes the whole thing much more comfortable to play and gives you the freedom of movement to find a better playing position. Review: Good value for money, but a shame there is no case. The stand holds the instrument securely. Unlike some other bass stands it takes the instrument with spike extended, which is pretty vital if you are a 'spike' player. I have mine extended to 290mm below the bell and it's fine. A minor drawback is that the instrument on its stand is not instantly accessible in a hurry - you can't just grab it in a couple of bars' rest. Review: This is a very 'natty' piece of kit and ideal for any one travelling around with a number of recorders. It is ideal for altos and tenors but it you are wanting it for descants, do check the bore before ordering. The spindle is 9.5mm, which is large for most descants. Review: I was looking for a better quality 'plastic' recorder and this seemed to be the answer. It is described as having a rich, reedy tonal quality and this is a very accurate description. It is lovely to play and maintains a lovely tone even when being played very quietly. I found the higher registers difficult to achieve at first but this was just a matter of technique. It has a beautifully clear higher register although I haven't quite managed to achieve the higher notes when playing quietly - a matter of practice I feel. The mouth piece is very nice to use, very smooth and comfortable. The matt finish is interesting. Apparently it makes it less 'slippery'. Review: This tenor recorder is a success on every level. It plays easily, with quite young players managing to cover the notes without strain. The sound is much better than it should be for the price! Review: A beautifully made recorder with some attractive details, such as the white ring around the thumb hole and the included thumb rest. Notes are easy to produce across the range. I have found, however that it clogs quickly, I think due to a narrow (compared to Yamaha) airway. I am sure this will vary with the player. Review: My daughter has been using a BG harness but finding it a bit uncomfortable. It also kept getting all twisted in her case. The soft harness from Neotech is excellent, very comfortable, will not get twisted and easy to adjust. She can now play in comfort! Review: Good, heavy base to the stand which keeps the clarinet safe and prevents it from being knocked over easily. Very pleased with quality and my daughter practices far more than if she had her clarinet packed away in it's case. Unfortunately, completely inadequate packaging which broke open during transit on first and subsequent replacement orders. On third replacement stand, it arrived properly packaged. Review: As an aged(53)adult flute beginner learning to play alongside my daughter, this flute gives me all I need to make a flying start with the instrument. It has a real quality feel that encourages me to pick up the instrument and play it. I can also see that it is a real step up from the lesser flute that I bought my daughter before I'd talked to my flute teacher. Of course, the real test of any supplier is what happens when there's a problem: DJM Music really helped when there was a minor problem with the original flute and arranged to deliver a replacement and pick up the original flute at the same time. Review: I love my new bass recorder. I have been playing treble up to now, but agreed to have a go at bass as well so that we have more flexibility in the group. I was able to play good notes right from the start - lovely tone. The fingering is the same as treble, and the clever keys mean that I don't have to stretch my fingers. Four days after receiving my bass, I have started to practise a few simple bass parts from the scores we play, and fully expect to play them when the group meets next. Review: Sturdy,larger gauge tubing than the rest of the sax range , yet compressing to a compact size in seconds.
